Barcelona, March 29th 2020

Dear Valued Customer,

We hope and wish that you are doing well and safe as well as your colleagues at work and your beloved ones during this Covid-19 pandemic. These are difficult days that we hope will end soon so we all can go back to our normal lives shortly.

Comforsa has been taking all the necessary actions to be as little affected as possible by the Coronavirus situation. Up until now our facilities have been running at 100% with a constant flow of raw material and final product expeditions to our customers.

Although the Catalan and the Spanish government have been taking strong actions to fight against Covid-19, the infections and deaths in Spain have been dramatically increasing. 15 days ago the Spanish Government declared the status of alarm across all territory but seeing that this measure is not enough to stop the bad statistics, this Saturday the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, has announced the full lockdown of the country (today the official decree 08/2020 with all the details of this strong measure will be published).

This lockdown will start on Monday March 30th until Monday April 13th, being Tuesday April 14th the first working day. As you can see this closure includes the Easter break, which aims at reducing to the minimum the movement of people on the roads and streets of Spain.

Even though the idea of this decree is to have all the employees on early vacations, all the Directors of Comforsa, as well as the heads of all the departments (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, etc.) will continue to be available for you to contact them if necessary. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact your Area Manager for any issue you may need to discuss during this period.

We will take all the necessary actions to be fully ready to start our production and deliveries on our reopening, as said, scheduled for Tuesday April 14th. Until then it will not be possible to forward any goods to you.

We hope that this unwanted situation, imposed by the Spanish Government, will cause as little disturbance as possible to your company, meanwhile please do not hesitate to contact us for any clarification or doubt you may have.

Sincerely yours,

Reca Vidiella
